It’s company policy meaning the policy of the chief executive, Mark Zuckerberg to roll out the red carpet to all manner of political falsehood and obfuscation. Mr. Zuckerberg has said that it’s not the company’s job to “be arbiters of truth” and that allowing posts from well-known people allows the public to make informed decisions. Yet every day Facebook blocks or deletes posts from Average Joes who violate its policies, including propagating untruths and hateful speech.

Listen - 01:11 Uber drivers in the UK will be classified as workers soon.  Angela Lang/CNET Uberdrivers in the UK will soon be considered workers for the company, as reported earlier by Bloomberg on Tuesday. They ll receive minimum wage, vacation pay and other benefits starting Wednesday.  More than 70,000 drivers will become Uber workers this week after the UK Supreme Court ruled in February against the company for how it designated its drivers. Along with minimum wage and vacation days, the new workers will also be enrolled in a pension plan; have free health insurance to cover sickness, injury, and maternity and paternity payments; and they ll still have the option to work when and where they want.

Graham Ivan Clark, 18, faced fraud charges after a hack that compromised Twitter accounts belonging to Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, former President Barack Obama and other celebrities. Under Mr. Clark’s control, the accounts tweeted fraudulent messages soliciting Bitcoin, promising to double the money of anyone who sent cryptocurrency. The scheme netted Bitcoin worth more than $100,000 before it was shut down.
